Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is the independent international organization – headquartered in Amsterdam with regional offices around the world – that helps business, government and other organizations understand and communicate their sustainability impacts. The GRI is one of the most common sustainability reporting standard, used by over 10,000 organizations around the world.

  • The new Universal Standards came into effect on 1 January, 2023.

  • If you decide that GHG emissions are a material topic, you must report on the following:
    • Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions
    • GHG emissions intensity ratio
