A 60-minute coaching session with a GHGP certified climate strategist covering: a CBAM regulation overview and requirements specific to your business, implementation timeline and key deadlines under the definitive phase, the reporting process for installation operators and importers of CBAM goods, and practical guidance on compliance best practices. You leave with a tailored action plan outlining your specific next steps.

CBAM coaching is available to Essential and Premium license holders as part of Normative’s Climate Strategy Services.

During the transitional phase (October 2023 to December 2025), importers filed quarterly reports with no financial obligations. From January 2026, importers must file annual declarations with verified embedded emissions data and purchase CBAM certificates linked to the EU ETS carbon price. Verification by an EU accredited verifier is now required.

CBAM currently applies to imports of iron and steel, cement, aluminium, fertilisers, hydrogen, and electricity into the EU. By 2030, scope is expected to extend to all product groups covered by the EU ETS and other products at risk of carbon leakage.
