Normative at the 2024 World Sustainability Congress

The World Sustainability Congress 2024 in Amsterdam will showcase leading examples of how businesses can translate their sustainability goals into impactful action.

Amsterdam, October 23rd-24th, 2024

Why is Normative going?

Sustainability disclosure requirements are spreading across the world. Per legislations like the CSRD, SECR, and soon CSDDD, more and more businesses are subject to mandatory reporting on their sustainability metrics, impact on the environment, and – crucially – planned actions.

This imposes major challenges on organizations. Not only are businesses asked to gather a diverse set of data spread out across their own organization and their suppliers – they often also have to navigate a change process within their organization to help move sustainability from a side conversation into the core agenda of their business strategy.

In this interactive session, Normative’s Dr. Alexander Schmidt will hold a keynote entitled: “Navigating sustainability discourses: how to prepare your organization for the CSRD and similar ESG reporting challenges.” He will also join the panel: “Tackling scope 3 emissions – practical strategies”, where participants will explore effective methods to mitigate these emissions and collaborate with suppliers on the path to net zero.
