Normative Positioned as a Challenger by Independent Research Firm
Verdantix positions Normative as a Challenger in its 2026 Green Quadrant assessment, recognizing the platform’s supplier engagement capabilities, product carbon footprinting tools and CSRD compliance module.
Stockholm, Sweden, 11 March 2026. Normative, the enterprise carbon management platform, today announced it has been positioned as a Challenger in the Green Quadrant: Enterprise Carbon Management Software (2026), an independent assessment by Verdantix. The positioning recognizes Normative’s integrated approach to supplier engagement, product carbon footprint management and financed emissions tracking for mid-sized to large enterprises with complex value chains.
Normative’s Value Chain Engagement module enables firms to collect supplier emissions data through surveys, partner integrations and direct uploads. Its Carbon Network allows suppliers to share carbon data with buyers and key stakeholders, while the platform’s climate strategy team supports collaboration, helping firms benchmark suppliers, identify hotspots and co-develop reduction strategies.
Normative has continued to expand its platform rapidly. Its launch of a dedicated CSRD compliance module in December 2024 was followed 12 months later by the introduction of a product carbon footprinting solution featuring AI-driven emission factor matching and scenario simulations. The company has recently announced a partnership with a renewable energy procurement specialist, giving customers access to verified Energy Attribute Certificates, while it also supports financed emissions tracking in line with Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) standards.
“For most companies, carbon accounting still means figuring out the basics. The hardest part is supply chains, where emissions are often hidden and far larger than the direct footprint. That’s the problem we’re here to solve. The product carbon footprinting tools we shipped this year are about giving companies a carbon account that is reliable, auditable and actually useful for decisions. Once you have that, you can stop steering blind.”
